The longest bench in the world is currently located in Milan, within the Industria Alfa Romeo park in Portello.

How long is it?
The bench is 208 meters long and runs along the pond located in the center of the park: it was made with American wood by a company in the province of Bergamo.

To create the bench, 1,800 wooden slats 4 meters long each were used, but also 25,000 screws and 500 iron legs.

It is a record that not all Milanese citizens know but it is certainly a great pride for the city and for Italy.
