Circolo Golf Villa d'Este was founded in 1926 and is the seventh most historic golf club in Italy and one of the most famous worldwide. It regularly hosts prestigious international tournaments and holds the Italian record for the most editions of the Italian Open played (12). Since 1932, the club has also organized numerous international amateur championships, both men's and women's, contributing to its reputation.
